Blending rich harmonic vocals, tasteful guitar work, soaring fiddle and a driving rhythm section, the band faithfully captures the sound and spirit of the golden era of British folk rock.

Honouring Fairport Convention, Jane and Phil bring their unique style to the folk festival scene in the form of their new band Liege and Lief.
I saw them at the New Forest Folk Festival 2026 as they played for the first time on the main stage . Jane and Phil's voices blended well and as always Jane's gift of making every word heard was not diminished by the larger sound of the band .
